🎤 ABOUT THE ARTIST

Dub Apocalypse is a Boston-based instrumental dub reggae band formed in 2007 by drummer Tommy Benedetti (John Brown’s Body) and guitarist Johnny Trama. Known for heavy, improvised grooves, they blend classic 70s/80s Jamaican dub with rock-infused sax and twin guitars. The group is a staple of the New England music scene with multiple Boston Music Awards.

Members: Tommy Benedetti (drums), Johnny Trama (guitar), Timo Shanko (sax/bass), Van Martin (guitar), and Aaron Bellamy (bass).
