🎤 ABOUT THE ARTIST

Spawned in a high mountain sugar shack in 2007, Sugar Shack is a central Vermont party band that specializes in Grade A jams and syrupy grooves. The musical repertoire showcases a deep catalog that includes tributes to the Allman Brothers Band, Little Feat, The Band, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Phish and always a solid helping of the Grateful Dead, among many other favorites. Sugar Shack’s original tunes are a nod to these influences while infusing their own element of creativity. Whatever the show, expect a meandering experience of organ dripping blues, psychedelic country and bluegrass, jazzy jams, and exploratory, funky grooves. For Grateful Dead Wednesdays, the lineup is Dennis Derryberry on lead guitar/vocals, Jeff Guerin on organ/keys/vocals, Gary Frankel on rhythm guitar/vocals, Steve Sharp on bass, Jamey Fidel on drums, and (formerly) Bob Brookens on sax, RIP.
