🌟 About the Artist:

Formed in Northern Vermont in the summer of ’24, The Sara Whitehair Band (SWB) has quickly

become known for their funky classics, deep-pocket grooves, and a fresh breath of soul in every

set.

Frontwoman Sara Whitehair, who hand-picked the SWB lineup, leads with powerful vocals and

her signature soulful sax style. The band’s tight rhythm section—Chris Lynch (guitar), Dan

Swain (bass), Perry Heller (drums), and Chris Zebal (keys)—lays down an irresistible foundation

that keeps crowds moving.

SWB’s newest member, Zaq Meyer (Long Beach Dob Allstars; Double U) brings a powerful new

dimension on trumpet. A talented multi-instrumentalist with a dynamic tone, Zaq adds vibrant

horn energy that elevates the band’s sound to a whole new level.

Covering artists like The Meters, Sharon Jones, Scary Pockets, Lettuce, The Wood Brothers,

Marcus King, Greyboy Allstars, Breakestra, Galactic, The New Mastersounds, Jamiroquai,

California Honeydrops, Prince, and many more, SWB delivers a blend of classic vibes and

modern soul with undeniable style.

Zenbarn is a one-of-a-kind venue presenting amazing music in an intimate barn setting. Shows are indoors and typically standing room unless otherwise noted. Limited seating is available for non-seated shows, with plenty of space inside and out to take a breather, spread out, or find a place to rest.
